We stock a wide selection of fabrics and carpeting for theatrical usage but will also commission custom designs for your special requirements. MELFABCO, INC. designed unique fabrics to match the historic patterns originally used in Boston's Landmark Opera House pictures below.

Acoustical Fabrics

Melfabco offers a wide range of acoustical fabrics in a vast array of colors. They can be used to line and decorate walls or to cover and decorate acoustical panels.

Acoustical Panels

An aesthetically pleasing solution to reverberant noise problems. Also known as acoustical wall panels these panels are typically 1”- 2” thick with a square or contoured chemically hardened edge and wrapped with a fire retardant fabric. The panels are mechanically hung on walls or ceilings in patterns or groupings that add to the rooms’ overall architecture. Melfabco carries a large selection of Sound Seal Acoustical panels for different applications, and can guide you through the choice of fabric which best suits your sound absorption, decorating and practical needs.
